Pseudo-NYM is changing the social networking paradigm from monolithic and monopolistic platforms to decentralized partnerships among cooperating organizations. Our Community-Based Networking services allow both closely cooperating partners and loosely associated federations to easily – securely and anonymously as well – identify members of the others’ organizations or companies.
We are working with organizations in three industries to create Community-Based Networks to meet their member and corporate needs.
Business Information Providers
Pseudo-NYM‘s Business Information Network is a partnership with business information providers and their enterprise clients to replace passwords with secure, managed, reusable virtual Internet Authentication Cards. With an IAC, a cardholder is easily identified as an employee of a sponsoring company across the entire network of participating sites. Accepting IACs allows business information providers to replace their website specific passwords with a credential that is managed by their corporate client and that is hard to share or steal.
Online News Sites
Pseudo-NYM‘s Trusted News Network is a partnership with news sites that offers subscribers from one site access and membership benefits to other sites across the network. Partnering with news organizations and relying on existing, standard technologies, Pseudo-NYM offers subscribers of participating sites a virtual Internet Affinity Card or IAC. Each IAC cardholder is granted seamless access across the network of sites as either a subscriber to a particular site or a first time or repeat visitor. As a result, the Trusted News Network enables participating sites to expand services they offer to their subscribers and other members of the network.
Sororities & Fraternities
The Greek Life Network allows sponsoring organizations to offer their members new and expanded services across the Internet. Partnering with sororities and fraternities and relying on existing, standard technologies, Pseudo-NYM offers their members a virtual Internet Affinity Card or IAC. With an IAC, a cardholder is easily identified as a member of a sponsoring sorority or fraternity – anonymously – across the entire network of participating sites. Accepting IACs allows 3rd-party vendors to easily implement affinity marketing for members of participating sororities and fraternities.
